"I wish I had known."

June Connell, Certified Childbirth Educator
Certified childbirth educator and Happy Birth Way founder June Connell has heard this statement from many first-time moms whose births didn't go as they had expected.

When a mother-to-be knows the basics of birth and can proactively plan the details of her baby's birth, she can make decisions with knowledge and confidence so that when she holds her baby for the first time, she can say:

"I'm so glad I knew."

"Thanks to this class, we had an easy, wonderful and natural birth in a hospital.  June's knowledge and passion were obvious
and recommend this class to everyone."
                      -- A. Harrison

"I learned that birth can be a spiritually bonding experience,
not a medical procedure."
-- Michael Risoldi, DC

What is a Doula?

A doula is a non-medical labor assistant who physically and emotionally supports a mom and her partner during labor, as depicted in this beautiful montage of Samuel's birth.

Thinking about being induced?  Read this first.
